Across Senior School, students are encouraged to find their voice, pursue their interests, represent their peers, and turn ideas into action.
As Courtney Stammers, Head of Junior School shared:
“Leadership at Korowa is about more than holding a title. It is about having the courage to step forward, the curiosity to listen to and consider different perspectives, the integrity to lead with authenticity, and the generosity to place community at the heart of all that you do. Grace and Natalia have shown us that they understand this deeply, and we are incredibly proud to see them take on this responsibility.”
In 2027, a new group of student leaders will take on that challenge as our Co-School Captains, Portfolio Captains, and House Captains.
Introducing Korowa's 2027 Co-School Captains
Following speeches from five outstanding candidates, Senior School students cast their votes for the leaders who will represent them in 2027.
Grace and Natalia were appointed Co-School Captains for 2027, each bringing their own experiences, interests, and ideas to the role, alongside a shared ambition to strengthen connections across the Korowa community.
For Natalia, Korowa life has meant embracing opportunities well beyond the classroom. A Korowa rower, she also participates in GSV Volleyball, Cross Country and Athletics, as well as Stage Band and Wind Symphony. Experiences including Year 9 Trek and the French Exchange have also shaped her time at the School.
“2027 is the year for coming to Korowa for more than academic results. It’s a year for collaboration across the community, exciting initiatives, and genuine connections. Alongside Grace, I hope to bring new opportunities and ideas to the table to create impactful experiences and inspire students to put themselves out there!”
Grace has pursued her passions across STEM and Music. She has been involved in F1 in Schools and MATE ROV, while also playing piano and double bass through Piano Trio and Senior Strings.
“I’m super excited and grateful for the opportunity to work with students across the School. I can’t wait to work alongside Natalia to hear everyone’s ideas and hopefully turn some of the crazy ones into reality! I’d love to help create an environment where students feel comfortable giving things a go, stepping outside their comfort zones, and discovering their passions.”
Together, Grace and Natalia will carry forward the leadership of 2026 Co-School Captains Tasha and Alyssa, representing their peers, championing Korowa’s values, and helping shape the year ahead.

Korowa - creating space for girls to lead
At Korowa, leadership isn’t reserved for one role, one personality, or one definition of success.
It’s developed through experience. Students learn to speak up, listen to others, take responsibility, collaborate, and have the courage to try something new. Some lead from the stage. Some lead from the stage. Others lead through sport, STEM, music, service, their House, or the everyday choices they make within their community.
Our 2027 student leaders reflect that diversity.
