Our address is 10–16 Ranfurlie Crescent, Glen Iris VIC 3146.

Korowa Anglican Girls' School is located in the leafy suburb of Glen Iris, approximately 10 km south-east of Melbourne’s CBD, with easy access by car and public transport.

The nearest train station is Glen Iris Station on the Glen Waverley line, about a five-minute walk to the school.

From Southern Cross or Flinders Street stations, trains run frequently to Glen Waverley line destinations, and students from both directions travel to school in less than 20 minutes. For example:

  • 14 minutes from Richmond Station
  • 17 minutes from Flinders Street Station
  • 16 minutes from Glen Waverley Station

From Melbourne CBD, take the Monash Freeway (M1) east and take the Bourke Road or High Street exits. Korowa is approximately 15-20 minutes’ drive from the city centre.

Drop-off and pick-up:

Ranfurlie Crescent is a safe, quiet street for school drop-offs, with supervision present and dedicated “kiss and go areas” for road-safe drop-off and pick-up on school days.

Parking:

If you are visiting Korowa for a tour, there are many nearby places where you will find a place to park. The easiest streets are marked in red on this map, and listed below.

  • Ranfurlie Crescent: 2 hour parking
  • Burke Road: all day parking
  • Dorrington Avenue: 2 hour parking
  • Grandview Road: all day parking in some sections
  • Kialla Avenue: all day parking in some sections

Korowa is extremely well-serviced by Melbourne's tram network.

The #5, #6 and #72 trams all stop within a five minute walk of Korowa, and bring students to school each day from many directions in half an hour or less. For example:

  • From Glenferrie Road, Malvern: 18 minutes on Tram #5
  • From St Kilda Road, Prahran: 30 minutes on Tram #6
  • From Toorak Road, St Kilda: 30 minutes on Tram #72
  • From Hawthorn: 30 minutes on Tram #16 or #6 (also on the train)

Korowa by bus

Several public buses service the Glen Iris area, enabling students to quickly and easily travel to Korowa even when there are no tram or train lines.

For example, students arrive at school in less than 20 minutes from the following locations: 

  • From Carnegie: 15 minutes on Bus #624
  • From Chadstone: 15 minutes on Bus #612
  • From Camberwell: 20 minutes on Bus #612

When public transport is limited, Korowa provides dedicated school buses along key routes to ensure students can safely and easily get to school. The routes are shared in detail on the next tab.

Korowa operates four subsidised bus routes to our support families, and students can board and disembark the bus at one of the many stops along the way.

  • The Bayside Bus: the school bus travels from Beaumaris via Black Rock, East Brighton, Brighton and with an additional stop at Caulfield Station. Download timetable >>
