Beyond the Gates is Korowa’s student-hosted podcast, created, produced and led entirely by students. Recorded in Korowa’s on-site media studio, each episode features conversations with Korowa alumni, offering insight into life beyond school and the many pathways that follow. Students take responsibility for every stage of the process, from planning and research, to hosting, recording, editing and sharing each episode.

Beyond the Gates provides a genuine platform for student voice. Students shape the direction of the podcast, select and invite guests, and lead thoughtful conversations that reflect curiosity, confidence and insight.

Through this process, students develop advanced communication skills, including interviewing, presentation, collaboration and storytelling, while gaining experience in media production and sound editing in a real-world context.
