Meaningful impact

Established in 1990, the Korowa Foundation exists to support Korowa’s long-term growth and ensure every gift has meaningful impact.

The Foundation raises funds to create a corpus that generates ongoing income, part of which is reinvested, while the rest is distributed to projects, resources, and programs that directly benefit students and staff in their academic, sporting, or cultural pursuits.

The Foundation oversees a range of funds, including the Building Fund, Scholarship Fund, Endowment Fund, and capital appeals, as well as the Jessie Patrick Bequest Society and the Annual Giving Appeal.

Donations to these funds are fully tax deductible, and through partnerships like the Australian Sports Foundation, donors can also support specific school sports programs. All giving through the Foundation helps provide opportunities, enhance facilities, and support scholarships, ensuring students can thrive and experience the full benefits of a Korowa education.

Frequently asked questions

How will my donation be used?

Every donation to Korowa directly benefits our students. Gifts can support scholarships and bursaries, building works, or facilities such as our library. You may also direct your donation to the area of our greatest need, helping the school respond to emerging priorities.

Are my donations tax-deductible?

Yes. Donations to Korowa are tax-deductible, if given through the Foundation. If you wish to donate to a specific school sports program, you may do so through the Australian Sports Foundation to ensure that that gift, too, is tax deductible.

Can I make a one-off gift, or do I need to commit to the long term?

You can choose what works best for you. One-off gifts are welcome and have an immediate impact, while recurring donations or endowments provide ongoing support that help sustain Korowa's programs and scholarships for generations of students.

Can I direct my gift to a specific area or program?

Absolutely. Donors can choose to support areas such as scholarships, bursaries, facilities, sports or the arts. We are very happy to talk with you and tailor the direction of your gift to ensure it has the greatest benefit to the area that matters most to you.
