Catherine Robson’s legacy as Chair of Council at Korowa

share

As Catherine Robson concludes her service as Chair of Council, we thank her for her leadership and deep commitment to Korowa. Appointed in 2023 as Korowa’s 23rd Chair, Catherine’s leadership marked a historic moment as the first woman to hold the role.

A parent who joined School Council in 2019, Catherine played a significant role in shaping Korowa’s future. As Chair of the Building Committee, she helped oversee the construction of the Roslyn Otzen Sports and Wellbeing Centre, a space that reflects Korowa’s continued investment in growth, wellbeing, and opportunity.During her Principal’s Address at Speech Night, Principal Frances Booth reflected, “In Catherine’s leadership of the School Council, she has given endless time, encouragement, critical thought and service to this school, to this community. In doing so, she has shown her mettle, her strength and lived her values, and we are all the beneficiaries of this. As she now leaves us, I would like to thank her for all she has done for me personally and for the school, and wish her well in her next adventures.”We are grateful for Catherine’s service and the legacy she leaves behind. Korowa is stronger because of her contribution.
