John Wilson Memorial Chapel

Dr John Wilson was Bishop of the Southern Region of the Anglican Diocese of Melbourne. A graduate of London and Yale Universities he was a highly valued and respected member of the Korowa community. He was Chair of the Korowa School Council for 16 years and led many significant acts of worship and key ceremonies for the School until his retirement in 2001. Bishop Wilson maintained his Korowa links by continuing to induct Year 12 Student Leaders on occasions and was a scholar and author of several books. The Korowa Chapel was named in his honour in 2015 and the Chapel windows, donated by The Korovian Club, feature elements of earth and the life water gives us.
