Dorrington Archway
Our entrance to Dorrington Avenue was opened in 1934 and first pictured in the 1934 Palm Leaf magazine. The Arch was nicknamed ‘Eggs Alley’ by girls in the 1940s and 1950s as the Korowa C.E.G.G.S. (Church of England Girls’ Grammar School) sign was often mysteriously missing its ‘C’.
Today the entrance ‘Korowa’ predominantly welcomes our Junior School girls
