The Korovian

Korowa's school magazine, The Korovian, is usually published twice a year and available in both print and digital formats. It celebrates our community, our values, and the stories that define us. Through articles, interviews, reflections and photographs, we capture the spirit of school life and the achievements of our students, staff and alumni.

History

Korovian Magazine

First published in October 1989, The Korovian has been capturing the stories, achievements, and milestones of Korowa Anglican Girls’ School for more than 35 years. Its earliest editions documented a defining chapter in the School’s history, from the 1990 Centenary celebrations and opening of the Margaret McPherson Centre to the appointment of Principal Dr Roslyn Otzen in 1991. What began as a modest black-and-white newsletter has evolved into a vibrant biannual magazine, showcasing student achievements, innovative learning, alumni journeys, and community stories. While Korowa has grown and education has transformed, The Korovian continues to connect generations of Korovians, celebrating where we've come from and where we're heading.
