Today, Korowa was honoured to be recognised as the only school one of Australia and New Zealand’s Best Places to Work, ranked on the Government, Education and Not-For-Profit list, from nearly 1000 nominated organisations across Australia and New Zealand.

The AFR BOSS Best Places to Work list recognises and ranks the best places to work in Australia and New Zealand, by industry, and is the premier list of its kind. The list is judged and compiled by Inventium –Australia’s leading behavioural science consultancy, using unique research-based methodology.

The assessment was made up of a staff survey and a written submission that outlined Korowa’s policies, practices and programs that have been developed to support staff in the workplace. The methodology was underpinned by Inventium’s Workplaces of the Future framework, which identifies ten key factors that are critical to employees feeling motivated and engaged at work and is supported by extensive research.

We are thrilled to be recognised for our achievements and practices in particular around flexible work place initiatives, learning and development practice and the introduction of the staff wellbeing survey program.

“At Korowa we recognise the importance of supporting our staff, and building a culture of continuous learning and development to ensure they can continue to deliver outstanding education programs to our students. To be ranked on the Best Places to Work by the Australian  Financial Review and Boss Magazine is an outstanding achievement and I am extremely proud” said Helen Carmody, Principal.
