We have several exciting workshops coming up for both parents and students in the area of STEAM.
What is Minecraft? Isn’t it just a game?
There’s more than meets the eye when you can create a digital prototype of your design, test chemical reactions without any clean up, or build a society with its own rules. Imagine the possibilities!
Here’s the perfect chance to learn why the kids are so obsessed at Korowa’s Minecraft.edu Family Edition. Parents and students are welcome to get started with our introductory workshop. Parents will gain an insight into how Minecraft can be used for learning and students will develop skills in creative thinking, math and geometry, strategic planning and goal setting.
Computers will be provided. Book now – spaces limited!

Years 6-10 Student Quest: Wearable Tech, You and the Future
What does the inside of a smart watch look like? How could I make my shirt play music or light up when the room is dark? These are only some examples of what wearable tech is and what it can do.
Learn how to code interactions with Lilypads, brainstorm potential designs for your own wearable technology and take home a simple creation. Come and explore how to design fashion which is more than clothing, using lights, circuits and electronics.
Students will need basic sewing skills.
Please check Korowa's School Stream mobile app for full event details or to RSVP.
