We are delighted to announce that Amy Tennent (Cripps ’95) is our guest speaker at this auspicious event. Amy will speak about the Cripps Foundation and their association with the Cambodian Children’s Fund (CCF) and in particular, The Neeson Cripps Academy in Phnom Penh.
2017 marks the first year of a new partnership between the CCF and Korowa, which saw nine Korowa girls travel to Cambodia in July. Whilst there, the girls worked in local communities in partnership with local NGOs, including the CCF. They spent time in Phnom Penh and Siem Reap assisting student learning, while also developing a deeper understanding of Cambodian history and culture, and gaining a wider perspective of their place in the world.
Proceeds from Korowa@Kooyong will be donated to the CCF in support of the inspiring work they are doing delivering education, family support and community development programs into Cambodia’s most impoverished communities.
Korowa@Kooyong is an event for all the women of Korowa – Korovians, current and past parents and friends of the School.
