Dedicated in 1938, Korowa's iconic entrance gates have welcomed more than 10,000 students.
The wrought iron School gates were purchased by the Parents' Association for 40 pounds in 1936.
The crests which feature on the gates were donated by Miss Margaret Dickson, Headmistress at the time. The design and casting of the crests was undertaken by Mrs Murray Dawson, the art and craft teacher.
The gates and their crests were officially blessed in 1938 with the dedication to 'be ever open for the admission of the true, the beautiful and the good; and closed in the face of all that is evil.'
