Korowa recently hosted its first-ever Ceramic Art Prize and Exhibition — and what a successful weekend it was! Held Korowa’s Gallery Ranfurlie, the event welcomed art enthusiasts, collectors, students, families, and members of the wider community to celebrate the vibrant world of Australian ceramics.
With over 70 exceptional entries from across Victoria, the exhibition featured a dynamic mix of works from established ceramicists, emerging artists, and talented secondary students. From bold sculptural statements to finely crafted functional pieces, every artwork told a story of innovation, technique, and creativity.
Visitors had the opportunity to view — and in some cases, purchase — truly one-of-a-kind pieces. For many, it was not just a chance to admire the art, but to take a piece of it home. All funds raised from sales will go directly towards supporting the creative pursuits of Korowa students, helping to nurture the next generation of Australian artists and designers.
