Enrichment and Support Programs
Korowa celebrates the uniqueness and diversity of its multi-talented students. Our Centre for Individual Enrichment was established to support the School's commitment to nurture our students' talents and capabilities. This is achieved through identification, individualization, assessment, support and challenge. We ensure that students' personal and unique talents are given every opportunity to flourish.
Our differentiated curriculum is aimed at ensuring the individual talents and interests of all girls are addressed within the classroom. In addition, where it has been determined that girls require extra support - either because they are demonstrating some giftedness or talent which lies outside the mainstream education setting, or because they need support to improve their skill level in a particular area - staff within the Centre for Individual Enrichment work with individual girls and/or their teachers to devise and deliver programs which support improved outcomes.
These programs might include undertaking more complex work within the classroom setting, entering competitions or participating in activities outside the School which other children with similar talents and skill levels attend.
