Korowa - a Consistent High Achiever

Korowa Anglican Girls’ School has again proven itself to be one of the most consistently high-performing schools in the State for VCE results.

Ranked second in 2010 (with a median VCE study score of 36), our median VCE scores have been ranked first or second across all independent non-selective schools for four of the past five years.

With 26% of study scores of 40 or above and 33% of students achieving an ATAR of 95 or higher in 2010, Korowa was placed in the top 3% of all schools in Victoria – a testament to the School’s proven track record in creating an environment where girls excel.

Other key VCE results for the Class of 2010 included:
• 12% of our students achieved an ATAR of 99 or higher
• 50% of our students achieved an ATAR of 90 or higher
• 32% of all study (subject) scores were graded A+
• 83% of all study (subject) scores were graded B or higher
• Two perfect study (subject) scores in Art and Further Mathematics.
