Antipodes exhibition
Korowa's Gallery Ranfurlie 2012 season kicks off this month with 'Antipodes' - a free exhibition featuring the work of Melbourne artists Hans Schiebold and Wendy Grace.
Grace’s softly executed abstractions contrast greatly with the hard-edged, almost graphic style of Schiebold. Schiebold explores Melbourne’s hybrid building styles with many of his works depicting streetscapes against a brilliant blue sky evocative of an imaginary world.
A professional gallery housed at Korowa Anglican Girls' School, Gallery Ranfurlie provides students with unique ongoing exposure to commercial artists' work on campus.
Viewing Times: Wednesday 21 March – Tuesday 27 March (excludes Sundays) 1-4pm
Location: Gallery Ranfurlie, Korowa Anglican Girls’ School
RSVP: reception@korowa.vic.edu.au

Left: Wendy Grace, Veronica, acrylic on canvas. Right: Hans Schiebold, Ye Olde Movie Theatre, oil on canvas, 2010
