Information & Learning Technologies
At Korowa, our classrooms are as wide as the world. Our use of technology is embedded within teaching and learning and is integral to our students’ education and development. We use information and learning technologies to support students to be successful learners who are creative, confident, inquisitive and engaged citizens.
Students at all levels within the School use technology on a daily basis. From interactive whiteboards in the Junior School, to the personal computer program in Year 6 onwards, teachers and students make effective use of powerful learning tools each day.
The Korowa campus is wireless. ‘Konnect’, our dynamic online learning spaces, enables anywhere, anytime learning with students using their personal computers to connect with others and to continue their learning out of school hours.
The use of technology is balanced with the need to ensure students still gain a love of reading and literature. Therefore our libraries offer both the latest technology and traditional approaches to accessing fiction and non-fiction resources.
