Korowa offers a high quality before and after School care program for students from Beginners (3yo kindergarten to Year 6).  The Before School program commences at 7.30am and the After School program concludes at 6.00pm.  Bookings may be made on a permanent, occasional, recreational or emergency care basis.

The Program provides the children with a variety of experiences ranging from crafts, cooking, drama, dance, sport, plenty of fun and games. We like to create a fun, safe and supportive environment for children to relax after School.  Years 3 - 6 are provided with supervised homework time Monday to Thursday. We also provide a nutritious afternoon tea each day.

Housed in the Student Centre at Korowa, run a combined program with the students from neighbouring Sacré Coeur, which provides the children with a larger network of friends and gives the Program the opportunity to use facilities from both Schools.

After School Care staff will take children to, and collect them from, any on-campus After School Program activity, should a parent wish this to occur.

Korowa's Out of School Hours Care is delivered in partnership with Camp Australia, Melbourne's leading Out Of School Hours provider.  Camp Australia manages over 60 Out of School Hours Care school contracts, implements over 80 holiday camps in Melbourne and Sydney a year, whilst coaching a variety of sports at over 15 schools. Camp Australia employs over 400 staff who are instilled with thier core values of being open, honest, enthusiastic, safe, organised, professional, engaging and committed.

Holiday Programs

Holiday activities are run by Camp Australia during Korowa's term break (including staff days) and available to children from Beginners (3yo kindergarten) through to Year 6. 

Each week the Holiday Programs runs themed activities - for example ‘Reality TV', ‘Wet ‘n' Wild' or ‘Magic Madness'.  These include a variety of incursions and excursions to places like the Melbourne Zoo, local parks, movies, ten-pin bowling and swimming. We also offer a mix of art and craft, drama, dance, cooking and sport activities to enjoy whilst based at Korowa.

Both the Before and After School Care and Holiday Programs are co-ordinated by Camp Australia, and many of the staff work in both programs ensuring children are familiar with their program leaders.

The Program has a well established reputation and students from other schools, friends or relatives are more than welcome to join in. The Program runs from 8am to 6pm and programs of activities are usually available 3-4 weeks prior to commencement.

Bookings are essential, as positions are not guaranteed without a booking.

Booking forms are available at the School Reception and from the Program Centre.  Specific information will be detailed on the booking forms.

The Program does not run on Easter Tuesday or the Monday prior to Melbourne Cup Day.
