Open House
23 February 2009
Last week's Open House events were an opportunity for many current and future families to take themselves on a self-guided tour of the School and witness the Official Opening of either the Science Wing on Monday night or the Food Technology Centre on Tuesday.
Professor Peter Darvall, former member of the Korowa School Council and former Vice-Chancellor of Monash University, opened our redeveloped Science labs with the help of a couple of skeletons and Lauren Hewitt, former Olympic athlete and nutritionist, demonstrated her food preparation skills by slicing a cantaloupe to open the Food Technology Centre. Thank you to Peter and Lauren for being here to conduct the Openings, to all the staff and girls who were here to welcome visitors and promote our state-of-the art facilities and to all those who were here to participate.
