International Students
Since its foundation in 1890, Korowa has been consistently recognised for its all-round excellence. Our School is a warm and inviting place which offers girls the very best education in a safe and stimulating learning environment.
Consistently ranked in the top 3% of the state of Victoria, Korowa's Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) results are always outstanding. Korowa is the top independent school and the top non-selective school in the state of Victoria, Australia based on our 2007 VCE results. 85% of our VCE subject scores were B+ or higher. 100% of our 2007 students won a first round University offer, with one international student being awarded a full scholarship to study medicine at the prestigious University of Melbourne.
We offer a limited number of places to international girls each year, usually in Years 10 and 11. Younger girls are welcome to join us providing appropriate guardianship and living arrangements are in place.
As there are usually more applications than available places, we suggest interested students submit their application at least six months prior to the proposed entry date.
Year 11 girls must be prepared to commence their studies at Korowa by end January in their commencing year. All girls attending Korowa in Year 11 must reach a high level of English language proficiency before commencing their studies with us.
We provide additional language support for all international students, should it be required.
