Homestay and Guardianship

At Korowa, we believe that, for a girl to do her best, she first needs to feel safe and happy.  We take our responsibilities for monitoring each girl's health and wellbeing very seriously.  Our Health and Well Being program staff include staff dedicated to working with international students during their time at Korowa.

Korowa requires all girls under the age of 18 years to have appropriate guardianship and living arrangements in place.  We seek to have regular contact with parents and guardians to ensure girls are comfortable in our environment and to confirm each student's academic progress is satisfactory.

Korowa can organize guardianship arrangements for students, should this be necessary.  There is usually an additional cost for guardianship services.  Where a student organizes their own guardian, Korowa must approve the arrangements before the student is able to commence at the School.

Korowa does not have a boarding school facility but we are able to organize high quality homestay places for international girls.  Girls over the age of 18 years are able to organize their own living arrangements.  Where a student is not living with their parents, a staff member visits each home on a regular basis.  Korowa must approve the living arrangements of all international girls.
