School Chaplain
Korowa is a Christian school in the Anglican tradition within the Anglican Diocese of Melbourne. The Chaplain is the representative of the church in the school and is an ordained minister, with the authority of the church to conduct services, administer the sacraments and offer pastoral care.
The Reverend Denise Tunstall leads the spiritual life of the school community: organising and conducting services, leading worship segments at school assemblies, teaching Religious Education, and preparing those who desire to be Baptised and/or Confirmed. The Chaplain also facilitates student Faith groups, a Parent Prayer Group and prayer times for staff. The Chaplain gives spiritual care and counselling to those who seek this support and is available to families, especially in times of bereavement.
