Junior School Refurbishment
Refurbishments to our Junior School are well underway, with all work to be completed by Term 1 2010. The first stage will require minimal relocation of classes. The second stage will commence after Melbourne Cup Day and will require relocation of Level 3 and 4 classrooms. The Art Room and Library will remain undisturbed. Please see a timeline below for further detail on the progress of works and a PDF file of the layout on the right hand side of this page.
The works will include installation of a lift, new student and staff toilets including disabled facilities, refurbishment of classrooms on Level 3 & 4 and glazing of the eastern wall which will provide more light to our corridors and a bird's eye view of the oval. When complete, the new-look Junior School will provide our students with a more open, spacious and flexible learning environment.
Keep an eye on this page, which will be updated regularly throughout the refurbishment.
This building project is funded through the Federal Government's Building the Education Revolution Primary Schools for the 21st Century Program.
