After School Programs
In addition to After School Care, numerous high quality and well run after school programs are available to Korowa students, particularly those in the Junior School. Many families take advantage of these programs as it frees up weekends for valuable family time.
Ballet classes are available to students from Reception to Year 6. Speech and Drama classes are offered to girls in Years 1 - 5. Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced Gymnastics classes are held, and a Rhythmic Gymnastics program is available to girls who are six years of age or older. Children aged 3 - 5 may attend Kindergym. Swimming lessons and tennis coaching are available for students 4 years old and above.
The programs are held on the campus and teachers or After School Care staff will take students to the classes after school should parents wish this to occur. Parents can either collect their child from the program, or the child can attend the after school program. Staff will collect children from activities should they be attending after school care at the conclusion of the program.
Certain co-curricular programs also operate after formal classes conclude for the day.
